Project Results and Benefits

-            Prior to the report, totally 38,394 end meters, 2,196 sets of G3 cabinets and collectors are delivered to Dominica and added to Hexing’s AMI system.

-            Hexing’s MDC system enhanced the accuracy of meter reading and increased customer’s satisfaction on utility’s service.

-            G3 cluster meter cabinet is usually installed far from end users, which avoids illegal operation and damage of meter inside. Thanks to Hexing’s anti-tampering designing, deploying of this system help utility realize the target of line loss reduction.

-            MDC (AMI) allows utility to execute load limitation on users via dual way communication, which realizes peak time load shaving to ensure network performance.

-          Payment ratio has been improved to more than 98% after the implementation of smart STS meters.
